Heather Forbes, Merchant & Shopkeep
Heather Forbes was born in Montreal and raised in Southern Ontario, Canada. She and her family have lived in Alberta for over 30 years. For those of you who are only acquainted with “Heather the Merchant and Shopkeep” this history fact may come to you as quite a surprise - Heather is a nurse by profession...that's right!
Think about it though; these days Heather nurtures the soul...she is led by heart’s delight to find everyday treasures in giftware, handcrafted and special–belongings chosen by Heather for you.
Heather Forbes has a deep appreciation for creating craft and has a Diploma in Fine Art. She is inspired by clay, watercolour and metal. Heather has worked in production, set and costume design along with the occasional acting role for amateur theatre.
Heather lives her passion in Grande Prairie, Alberta with her husband Tom and 2 cats adopted from the SPCA.
Of course, we cannot forget Garth, the beautiful rescue greyhound. Garth inspires the Forbes & Friends Flair Boutique story as the begins and continues with a memorable social encounter.
